Nine time Juno award winner, Feist, is set to perform in London as part of her recently announced Canadian National tour, in support of her award winning album, The Reminder.
The 2008 Juno Awards in Calgary this past weekend saw Calgary native Feist take home an astounding five awards in various categories including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.
The past year has proven to be a benchmark year for Feist. She landed major features in publications such as Rolling Stone, Vogue, Maclean’s, and Vanity Fair and appeared on many Best-Of lists. She performed at the 2008 Grammy Awards (where she was also nominated for 4 awards), headlined the Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill, was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, and NBC’s Today Show.
The Reminder, released May 1, 2007, on Arts & Crafts, is certified Double Platinum in Canada and has gone on to sell over 1 million copies Worldwide.
