World’s Top Synchronized Skating Teams Compete at
2011 Synchro in the City - London Synchrofest International
presented by Freedom 55 Financial
December 28th & 29th , 2011 at the John Labatt Centre
(London, Ontario) Tourism London announced today that they in partnership with the John Labatt Centre will host the first ever 2011 Synchro in the City - London Synchrofest International presented by Freedom 55 Financial. This International Senior Invitational Competition will be held December 28th & 29th, 2011 at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario.
“This is a ground breaking, shoulder season event that we hope will stimulate the local economy and profile more fully the athletic skill and artistry of Synchronized Skating,” said John Winston, General Manager of Tourism London. “This is an exciting, creative initiative and we are pleased to offer this family event to our community over the holiday season.”
The 2011 Synchro in the City - London Synchrofest International presented by Freedom 55 Financial will see the world’s top Synchronized skating teams compete for fifty thousand dollars in prize money. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, October 21st at 12 noon.

"London hosted the international synchronized skating community in 2007 and put on a world class event. I have no doubt that this event will be the same."

The 2011 Synchro in the City - London Synchrofest International presented by Freedom 55 Financial will see the world’s top Synchronized skating teams compete for fifty thousand dollars in prize money. This is the first time this amount of prize money has been offered to teams in competition. Countries currently committed to send world-class teams are Canada, United States of America, Japan, Russia and Finland. |
