PREMIUM SEATING FAQ'S What is a Luxury Suite at the John Labatt Centre? A Luxury Suite at the new John Labatt Centre is unquestionably the region's most accommodating spectator parlour and seating arrangement for sporting events and star-studded performances. Offering first class amenities, furnishings, services and privacy, the Luxury Suites accommodate 10 theater-style, cushioned seats. Beyond that, each suite is approximately 270 sq. ft. and has a furnished parlour with wet bar, refrigerator, telephone, television, buffet area, and many other privileges offered to each guest, including a VIP entrance into the Centre. Designed for comfort, the suites are located on the exclusive VIP Luxury Suite level with access to the Centre's private Club Lounge. With VIP treatment also comes a VIP preferred sight-line view of the action. Located only a short distance from the playing surface, Luxury Suites truly have a premium sight-line for viewing all the action in style. Where are the suites located and how many are available? What is the cost? There is a total of 38 Luxury Suites available. Six (6) Silver Suites located on the sidelines of the Centre and in the corners; Fourteen (14) Gold Suites located directly above the home team face-off circles; and Eighteen (18) Platinum Suites located directly at center ice. Each individual suite has 10 theater-style cushioned seats in a private lower bowl tiered seating configuration. These suites range in price from $19,500 per year to $31,500, depending on the term of the lease agreement and the location of the suite. The lease terms are 3, 5 or 7 years. How many events will be hosted at the Centre? What types of events will take place? We anticipate hosting over 100 spectacular sporting and non-sporting events in the inaugural year including hockey, concerts, and ice-skating extravaganzas. The London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) are scheduled to play 34 home games, plus potential play-off matches. Beyond the excitement of Knights hockey, other events slated for the Centre will include star-studded concerts, world championship ice-skating, college and high school sports, rodeos, wrestling, volleyball, theatrical shows, circuses, variety shows, and many family shows. Am I allowed to sublease my Luxury Suite? Yes. For example, a suite owner would be allowed to sublease his/her suite for any event to another party who has an interest in attending. This will apply to all of the Centre's public events. However, each suite will be licensed to one managing partner. When confirming suite ticket sales and accounts receivable, the Centre's Accounting Department, Box Office and most importantly the Premium Seating Department will communicate with only one suite principle partner. Once I agree to lease my suite on a multi-year assignment, can I decorate it as I choose? No. We are working with a leading international architectural firm who is consulting on the final suite interior configurations and furnishings. Each suite will be detailed with plush surroundings, providing the owner with ultimate comfort, amenities, and view of the event-floor action. Only quality wall coverings, flooring, furniture, audio-visual, lighting, and communication features will be provided. Lighted advertising, logos, or projected images are not allowed. However, pre-approved logos and art work that does not face the exterior of the suite is allowed, pending approval from the manager. Can I hire a private catering company to supply my food and beverage service? No. The John Labatt Centre will have a concessionaire that will be the exclusive provider of all food, beverages and services supplied in the Centre. How does the In-House catering work? As
a suite owner, you will be provided with an exclusive Suite
Menu that you will keep in your office or at home. If you
decide that you would like to pre-order food and beverage
for the event, simply fax in your order three days prior to
the event and the food will be beautifully displayed in your
suite when you arrive. If you opt not pre-order, there will
be a game day menu that you and your guests can choose from.
Either way, you will be guaranteed the finest quality foods
and service. As a suite holder you will get 3 VIP parking passes under the Covent Garden Market, the Centre’s Official VIP Parking Lot, for Centre event-night use only. This parking lot is in close proximity to the VIP Suite Holders Entrance and will provide for easy access to and from the facilty. Can I purchase additional tickets for my suite? Yes. Suite owners will be allowed to purchase additional tickets to their suite whenever needed. Per the fire marshal code, suite owners will be allowed to purchase up to four (4) additional tickets to the suite for any event. Therefore, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Suites can accommodate up to 14 individuals. Do the suites have a private restroom? No, but the Suite Level will have private restrooms for patrons on that level. There are four (4) women's rooms and four (4) men's rooms easily accessible from all the suites. |
